June:
  • PGAH recommends spaying or neutering your pet. There are many advantages of neutering your pet. It reduces the risk of prostate cancer and prostatitis, reduces the risk of hormone-related diseases, eliminates the risk of testicular cancer, and can reduce certain types of aggression. Advantages of spaying can include prevention of heat or estrus, can eliminate false pregnancy, prevention of uterine infection (pyometra), prevention of breast cancer, and can eliminate the risk of uterine and ovarian cancer.

July:
